    I originally ordered a pair of Levis 505 regular fit 36×30 because I recently purchased a pair in a different color that fit as advertised. The newer Levis I got were way too small , like maybe 32 or 34. I checked the tags to confirm the size and noticed that the new small pair were made in Thailand, whereas the ones that fit were made in Mexico.
    I decided to try Wranglers because they looked the same as Levis, and they were regular fit, BUT had a slightly stretchable waistband that appealed to me just in case they were tight like the Levis. They were 2/3rds the cost.
    Lo and behold, they fit just the way they should without having to pull on the waist for stretch. (I will probably appreciate the stretch after a big meal or long cycle trip.) Curiously, they were made in Mexico just like the Levis that did fit. I’m thinking our neighbors to the South seem to have a better concept of American sizing than elsewhere in the world. Mil gracias!
    If any Levis rep happens to be reading this, I would think it would be a good idea to state on your product descriptions exactly where particular styles/cuts/colors of pants are made.
