In the last few days I’ve ordered and received 4 pairs of theses jeans. I’ve been wearing this jean for many years, and I’ll truthfully have to say they can’t compete with my older ones that I’ve about worn out.
I ordered 2 different colors, dark to work in and light to wear when we go out. When I received them the light colored ones looked and fit just as good as my older ones. the darker colored ones, same size, legs and the seat of them are much larger, so much so I could probably put a few monkeys in the seats with me.
The first pair of light colored ones had the bottom of the right pocket sewed into the leg and I couldn’t get my hand into it. Cut it loose and sewed the pocket back together.
I wear a 29 long, or use to until a regular office visit to the doctor a couple years ago, told me I had lost about 1.5 inches in height due to my age. I had thought something was different to any 29 pants in length was to long when I tried them on. These new 29L jeans are a little long because of that but, no where to buy 28L so I’ll just have to get these altered or wear them a little long, which is ok by me and not going to ask my wife to alter them for me. So, I suggest you think about maybe you’re lost some height before you go off on a rant about them being to long especially when they’re true to the length you ordered.
The Flex Waist works just fine and I still enjoy how it works. I’m not going to return the dark jeans that are bigger in the seats and the legs than the lighter colored jeans. I’m not out to impress anyone so they’ll work for me when I’m in my architectural millwork shop working.
I gave them 4 stars because of the pocket and the how the darker sizes fit. I would order them again, but light colors only.
