   I took this bag on a trip to Cuba and it was perfect for the job…lots of spots to put things, lightweight, didn’t get dirty and it’s easy to grab with the little handle on the top. I wore it over my left shoulder but it fits best cross-body. The only note is that the water bottle pocket is rather small in diameter, but I was able to find a disposable plastic bottle to fit and now have a non-disposable that works well, too.

   I used to use a backpack and I have say I probably would still is I had traverse longs distances (like airports end-to-end). But for day-to-day commutes, this bag is great! Its slim, smaller than a bulky backpack and looks very nice and professional. More than enough room for my laptop, tablet and notebooks for work. The over the shoulder strap is adjustable for comfort. This strap could use a little more padding on the shoulder, but more than sufficient for normal commutes on mass transit.

   First I am going to correct a mis understanding. this is not a man purse, or a cross body bag, and anything other than a simple satchel. A satchel is what Indianna Jones carries! Ok, tes I have been teased a bit, but so what, I need to carry a bunch of stuff daily and this does it with out having to carry a lap top bag, or some other suitcase like bag. Now, to my point, this is a quality bag. the leather is thick, sturdy, color fast, and as I continue to use a little bit of leather balm on it, it just gets better, and softer. think that old pair of jeans that is so soft you almost think of them as sleep ware? this bag is that kind of relaxed now. I did not say soft, relaxed. the leather has softened to a point where if I put it down, the stuff inside will pull the leather and fold the bag over. there has been not a single stitch, not a single tear, not a single stuck zipper for me in this satchel. at one point I scratched it rather badly, and I thought it was to ugly to be the good kind of patina, but I used a bit of leather balm and a few minutes of rubbing and the scratch is just gone. I love this bag so much, I bought one for my wife, and then bought another style of carry bag from Jack & Chris. not a single failure yet. Great quality!

   This laptop bag is just what I was looking for. It’s comfortable to carry even when maxed with stuff. Room to hold not only the laptop and accessories, but also personal items as well e.g, wallet, phone and snacks.
