I have delicate lower extremities due to a long history of stress fractures and very high arches, so i exclusively wear Asics of some variety for everything. Previously had Nimbus 22s for trainers which were great, then got these 24s and they’re ridiculously comfy. Arch support is fantastic, insole is fantastic, but the soul itself and heel cup is where this shines. It’s very spongy and spring-y. At first you’ll need to get used to it because it almost feels like you’re wearing a tempurpedic trampoline LOL. No i’m serious, i immediately started stomping and jumping on pavement and felt zero discomfort, kinda crazy. The tongue is not bad at all, it’s just a strange design: very thin and elastic, you need to yank it up hard before lacing to avoid pressure points. Otherwise it feels comfy, wouldnt mind it on other shoes tbh. Finally, these are super light weight, almost like slippers. Not a major con it just requires some fine motor re-learning. Bought a second pair once i read theyre discontinued.
