The elastic band is great you can wear pants without them being so baggy

I don’t like to wear a belt so I have typically leaned toward smaller waist sizes to ensure my pants stay up; however, a fixed tight waist size is not always comfortable in situations involving flexibility or bending. These jeans with elastic waistband allow me to order a size larger for comfort without sacrificing a snug waist to remain in place without a belt. This is a repurchase 1 size larger due to my waistline increasing. No 5th star due to waistline runs a little lower on me than traditional jeans and durability (developed some rips around rear pockets after 2 years use) is a little less than “more rugged” jeans. That being said, these are the only jeans I will buy going forward.
